What are the scholarship opportunities that you have?
We have 2 - year, 3 - year, 4 - year and athletic scholarships. These
are awarded on a competitive basis.
How much is the scholarship worth?
It pays full tuition and lab fees, a $1,000/year book and supply
allowance, computer fees and a $100/month stipend (tax-free), which will
increase to $150/month beginning Fall, 1995.
What is the likelihood of receiving the scholarship?
It depends upon your major and your grades. The more technically
oriented your major is, and the stronger your grades are, the more likely you
are to receive the scholarship. Remember that there is no obligation associated
with applying for the scholarship.
Can I receive a guaranteed Reserve Forces scholarship?
Yes. If you are applying for a scholarship, you must indicate that you
are applying for a guaranteed reserve forces scholarship.
Can I be a member of the guard or reserve and still be in ROTC?
Yes. There are programs for the Army reserve.
Can I transfer my scholarship to another University?
Yes, provided that the school is accredited and provides ROTC instruction.
