How can the College and Universities section help me?

The COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES section allows you to review information on Colleges and Universities in your state, your Geographic Region, the Country, or the World. Some colleges have computer sites that maintain information about various departments and programs. This information is updated regularly by the College and University; therefore COLLEGE COMPASS always provides access to the most up-to-date information, when possible.

Because most Colleges and Universities don't have computer sites, also known as WEB Sites, COLLEGE COMPASS provides a limited amount of local information on those schools and an address and telephone number to contact the school for more detailed information.

How is the section arranged?

The COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES section is divided into categories that many depict geographic areas such as: Your State , GEOGRAPHIC REGIONS , THE UNITED STATES and INTERNATIONAL areas. It also maintains specialized catagories such as the "HISTORICALLY BLACK COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES" .

Withing the GEOGRAPHIC REGIONS and THE UNITED STATES categories pictorial representations called "Clickable Picture" can be found. That means clicking on a particular area of the picture will take you to a different location within COLLEGE COMPASS. "Clickable Picture" can be recognized by the square "blue" box that surrounds the picture and the text denoting "Clickable Map"

The Colleges and Universities section also allows you to review an ALPHABETICAL listing of Colleges and
