Please include your name, date of birth, test date, and registration number (if you have it) in all correspondence.
As stated earlier, it generally takes around 5 weeks for scores to be sent out. Rush Reporting is available if you need them sooner. If you happen to need to send more than eight score reports then you may request Additional Reports for a fee.
Your Score Report displays your most recent scores, score ranges, and percentiles.
Your scores are reported on the recentered scale and are preceded by the letter "R." Recentered means that all SAT Program test scores for tests taken on or after April 1, 1995, have been reported on the recentered scale. Recentering reestablished the average SAT I verbal and math scores near the midpoint of the 200-800 scale.
Flags may appear before either the test score or test date. Flag symbols and definitions are:

1/4 point is subtracted for five-choice questions.
1/3 point is subtracted for four-choice questions.
Step II. Your raw score is changed into a scaled score by a statistical process called equating. Equating adjusts for slight differences in difficulty between test editions and ensures that scores are the same no matter which edition of the test you took.
