SAT II - SCORING

Receiving Scores

It usually takes about five weeks for your test to be scored and sent out to the organizations you specified during registration. If you have not received your scores after 10 weeks of the test date then contact the SAT by:
• Call 1-609-771-7600 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. eastern time, Monday through Friday, and speak to a service representative, or
• fax 1-609-771-7681, or
• send us an e-mail

Please include your name, date of birth, test date, and registration number (if you have it) in all correspondence.

As stated earlier, it generally takes around 5 weeks for scores to be sent out. Rush Reporting is available if you need them sooner. If you happen to need to send more than eight score reports then you may request Additional Reports for a fee.

Your SAT Subject Test SCORES

Your Score Report displays your most recent scores, score ranges, and percentiles.

Your scores are reported on the recentered scale and are preceded by the letter "R." Recentered means that all SAT Program test scores for tests taken on or after April 1, 1995, have been reported on the recentered scale. Recentering reestablished the average SAT II subject test scores near the midpoint of the 200-800 scale.

Flags may appear before either the test score or test date. Flag symbols and definitions are:

R recentered score
# SAT II: Subject Test score is on Score Choice hold
* nonstandard administration
+ revised score
@ delayed score

SCORES

Your score calculations are specific to the subject test taken, however the scores range from 200-800 as in the SAT I.
