SAT - REGISTRATION
To register for the SAT, you must complete a Registration Form. This form can be obtain
from a variety of sources such as your High School Counselor. You can also call the SAT
organization directly at 1-609-771-7600 . The service is automated, so you can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Or, if you need assistance, you can call from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm Eastern time,
Monday through Friday, and speak to a service representative.
Other non-traditional ways of registering include online registration or telephone registration. Telephone
registration is available only if you have registered to take the test before. For telephone registration call 1-800-SAT-SCORE if you are
prepared to pay the registration fee by credit card or 1-609-771-7600 , if not.
Special Registration
Fee Waivers
Fee waivers are available to high school juniors and seniors who cannot afford SAT Program test fees.
The Fee Waiver covers the basic testing fee for the test and the
Student Answer Service(SAS) or
Question and Answer Service(QAS) .
You can apply for a fee waiver through your guidance counselor.
Your counselor will give you a Fee Waiver Card to keep. This fee waiver may also qualify you to be exempt from
the college application fees charged by some colleges. For further details, please refer to the Bulletin.
Students with Disabilities
Special testing arrangements can be made for students with documented disabilities. You can contact the College

Special Test Locations
If you live more than 75 miles from the nearest test center (refer to the Bulletin for test centers),
you may be able to test closer to home by entering 02-00 as your first choice for the test center on the
Registration From. Be sure to include a letter describing your situation with your completed form.

Sunday Testing
If religious reasons prohibit you from testing on a Saturday, enter 01-000 as your test center code in item 10
(under First Choice) on the Registration Form. Include a letter of explanation on your cleric's letterhead stationery, signed by your cleric.

Other SAT Services
Scores
When registering, you can specify up to eight organizations to recieve your scores.
These may be colleges, universities, or scholarship programs. It generally takes around
5 weeks for scores to be sent out. Rush Reporting is available if you
need them sooner. If you happen to need to send more than eight score reports then you may request
Additional Reports for a fee.
