The first step in money management is determining where your money is spent. Many people know exactly how much they spent on the necessities such as Rent, Car Payment, & other major debts; but if we were to ask you How much money have you spent on Entertainment or eating out you would probably have a difficult time figuring it out. Well, our goal is to REALLY see exactly Where Does the Money Go? To help us figure this out we will use the Expenditure Form below and a pack of Index cards. You should begin by recording all expenses listed on the form that apply to you and list any additional one has in the area labeled "Other". The index cards will be used to record every cent we spend each day. At the end of the day place the expenses in a category, such as Food, Entertainment and etc.; then add to obtain a total for each category.
